Brevini Fluid Power was born in 2003 by merging 6 companies (Aron, Hydr-App, SAM Hydraulik, Oleodinamica Reggiana, VPS Brevini, Brevini Hydraulics) with over 30 years of experience in hydraulic components manufacturing.
In 2008
Brevini Fluid Power acquired BPE Electronics and in 2009 OT Oiltechnology .
Head quarters are in Reggio Emilia with branches in Italy, France, UK, Holland, Germany, Romania, China, India, Singapore and USA.

The History of Brevini Fluid Power comes from the companies that made it. Thanks to companies like SAM Hydraulik, Hydr-App, Aron, the "made in Italy hydraulic" is now apreciated and recognized all over the world.
The story starts in Reggio Emilia more than 40 years ago:
- 1973 S.A.M. Hydraulik is born
- 1974 Luciano Brevini founds Hydr-App and in 1976 leaves the management to Werther Campaldi
- 1978 Aron is born
- 1995 Brevini Hydraulics is founded
- 2001 - 2002 Hydr-App merges Oleodinamica Reggiana and Aron
- 2003 Brevini Fluid Power is founded. It contains Hydr-App, Brevini Hydraulics, Aron
- 2009 The new plant in Yancheng (China) is opened
- 2009 BPE Electronics is merged
- 2010 OT Oiltechnology is merged
- 2011 Vito Bonafede becomes the new CEO of Brevini Fluid Power
